Material
The shell is a woven stripe fabric — the stripe bands are woven, not printed, so the color separation stays sharp and does not fade or crack. The fringe is knotted by hand in a fixed loop pattern, which holds better than a glued tassel. The metal ring on the zipper pull is a separate cast piece, not a wire bend, so it keeps its shape in luggage. Woven fabric relaxes slightly over time; we account for that in the cut pattern so the pouch keeps its proportions.
