Material
The shell is a soft nylon with a quilted polyester fill — the same construction as a puffer jacket, which is exactly the look and feel. The quilting traps the fill in cells so it stays evenly plump and does not shift or lump. The padded handle is sewn with a firm core so it carries a laptop, water bottle and winter layers without cutting into the hand. Nylon is chosen over cotton for weight: at 0.4kg the bag keeps the puffer look without the puffer weight. Panel seams are bound and stress points bar-tacked.
