Material
The shell is diamond-quilted polyester over 8mm foam — the padding spec absorbs the bumps of daily commuting without adding bulk. The interior is fleece-lined so the laptop surface never touches a scratch source; the zipper is separated from the laptop side by a fleece guard flap. We cut the sleeve to fit 14-inch and 16-inch frames with a 1cm tolerance so it slides in and out easily but does not rattle. Quilting is stitched on a guided machine, keeping the diamond pattern even on every batch.
