Material
We source full-grain and top-grain cowhide from certified tanneries in Guangdong. Each hide is hand-selected for consistent grain pattern and thickness (1.2-1.4mm). The RFID blocking lining is a copper-nickel polyester fabric that attenuates 13.56MHz signals by over 60dB — meeting the ISO 14443 standard for contactless card protection. Unlike cheap aluminum foil linings, our fabric is flexible, washable, and does not crack with repeated folding. The interior uses a soft polyester twill that prevents card scratching and provides a premium feel.

Description
This is the wallet your customer will reach for every morning and not think about twice — until someone asks where he got it. The top-grain leather develops a rich patina within six months of daily use, darkening at the corners and where fingers grip the bifold. The RFID lining is invisible but active — it blocks the signal skimmers use to lift credit card data from pockets and bags. The layout is practical: eight card slots, two slip pockets for receipts or business cards, a clear ID window, and a snap coin pocket that actually closes properly. It is not a fashion statement. It is a well-made tool that lasts five years or more with normal use.

Product FAQ

Straight answers for procurement teams

How does the RFID blocking lining actually work?
The lining is a woven fabric made from copper and nickel-plated polyester fibers. When a contactless card (13.56MHz frequency) is placed inside the wallet, the fabric creates a Faraday cage that attenuates the signal by over 60 decibels — enough that a standard RFID reader cannot detect the card from more than 1-2 centimeters away. This is the same technology used in passport covers and signal-blocking phone pouches. Unlike aluminum foil, which tears and crinkles, our fabric is flexible, washable, and survives the 5000-open cycle test we run on every batch. The lining does not affect phone signals, WiFi, or Bluetooth — it only blocks the specific frequency used by contactless payment cards.
What is the difference between top-grain, full-grain, and genuine leather?
Yes. We stock 22 colors covering the basics — black, white, navy, grey, beige, plus seasonal tones like sage green, dusty rose, mustard yellow and terracotta. If you need a specific brand color, send us the Pantone code or a fabric swatch. We dye the acrylic yarn to match within a Delta E of 2.0 (industry standard for visual acceptability). Custom dyeing adds 3-5 days to sample development and requires a minimum of 500 pieces per color. There is no extra dyeing fee — the cost is built into the per-unit price. We recommend ordering a color sample card before committing to a full production run.
Can I get a custom embossed logo and how long does it take?
Acrylic yarn is surprisingly tough. It is mold-resistant, colorfast (will not fade in sunlight), and can be hand-washed in cold water. The mesh construction means the bag stretches to accommodate contents but springs back to shape when emptied. In real-world testing, our crocheted totes hold up to 5kg of load without strap deformation — enough for a day at the beach or a trip to the farmers market. The wooden bead handles are sanded smooth and sealed with a natural finish, so they will not splinter or snag clothing. The main wear point is the strap-to-body connection, which we reinforce with a double-knot stitch. With normal use, these bags last 2-3 years — and they look better as the yarn softens with age.
What is the minimum order quantity and can I mix colors?
Crocheted bags are naturally foldable, which is a huge advantage for shipping. We fold each bag flat (the mesh compresses to about 2cm thickness), place it in a custom polybag to prevent dust and moisture, then pack 50-80 pieces per corrugated carton. A 500-piece order fits in roughly 7-8 cartons with a total volume of about 0.15 CBM — significantly less than structured canvas or nylon bags. For retail clients, we offer individual tissue paper wrapping and branded hang tags attached to the wooden bead handle. We recommend avoiding vacuum packaging, as it can crush the wooden beads and create permanent creases in the acrylic yarn. Standard sea freight from Shenzhen to Los Angeles takes 25-30 days; air freight takes 5-7 days.
