Plaid demands pattern-matching at the seams: panels cut from the same bolt must align the check pattern across edges, or the pouch looks off-spec to a trained eye. Fabric shrinkage is the hidden risk - polyester resists it, but the base fabric and lining must be pre-shrunk to the same rate or the pouch distorts after the first wash. Water resistance comes from the polyester base, so treat this as splash-resistant, not waterproof.
Supply plaid artwork or fabric reference and specify pattern-repeat direction so panels are cut pattern-matched. State both formats' dimensions and whether they should be sold as a set with matching print. Confirm base fabric and lining composition, and ask about pre-shrinkage treatment. On the sample, wash once and compare the pattern alignment and dimensions against the original. Confirm zipper color matches the plaid palette.
